Thank you for telling me about the connection between migraines and gluten. I had suffered from migraines for over 10 years, but once I stopped eating gluten, the number of migraines I experienced was reduced dramatically. I also experienced a significant improvement in my digestive health. Thank you for going above and beyond treating my neck pain and providing this valuable advice to treat my migraines!
To whom it may concern:
I am writing this note to endorse Dr. Shawn Phelan, who I consider one of the finest health care practitioners I have been privileged to work with, both as a patient myself, and as a referring practitioner.
Several years ago, I was certified by neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons as fully and permanently disabled for the practice in my profession, dentistry. I lived in unrelenting, excruciating pain and I was told I would never improve. After several months of therapy with Dr. Phelan, my pain level decreased from a “10″ to a “2″ and I was able to return to full time work.

Dear Dr. Phelan,
A thank you note to you is long overdue. And not only for me, but also for the rather long list of patients, family, friends, and neighbors that you have seen and helped, I thank you. I well remember my first visit to you. I was really skeptical and had little hope that you would actually be of any real help. So faith healing it isn’t since I had no faith.
When improvement commenced, I decided you had skill. Later I decided you have TALENT. We can all learn a skill, but talent is that innate ability to go further and move into new territory. A rare commodity indeed! Your excellent care, along with your concern and support, have mad it about as easy as it could be, though. All of us in my circle have appreciated your easy manner and mellow style, as well as your consummate skill and excellent judgment in rendering the care we have needed so much.

Dear Dr. Phelan
As a family physician and primary care provider for over 27 years, I have treated a large number of patients with cervical and lumbar complaints. as you are aware, I became one of those patients myself this past year, requiring two separate procedures for cervical disc disease. I had never considered chiropractic treatment an option, always referring to physical therapists for rehabilitation. I finally heeded the recommendation by a fellow physician whom you had rehabilitated, and with some hesitation sought your evaluation. I have been pleasantly surprised with the outcome so far, having improved at lease 95 percent overall. Your approach has been both physically and mentally targeted with no radical manipulations that would place me in jeopardy or leave me any cause for concern, I also have appreciated your in-depth assessment of my daily activities to help prevent flare-ups. I thank you again for your caring and expertise in helping me along in physical rehabilitation.

Dear Dr. Phelan,
I am a reformed skeptic!
My apprehensions regarding chiropractic care were very quickly resolved when I began treatment 10 months ago. Your gentle, affirming, positive manner and tremendous understanding of my particular back condition, made a believer out of me. I wonder what life would be like, if I hadn’t taken a chance and experienced chiropractic care myself.
